I'm running for Henderson County Judge Executive because this county is on the precipice of an economic evolution and we need clear navigation to ensure our community values are upheld. I plan on treating our community members with the decency and respect that they deserve.

While in the state legislature, Dorsey worked hard to make sure our community had the resources it needed, and he will continue this hard work as County Judge. He will utilize the connections he has in Frankfort and across the country that will make our county successful.
As Kentucky’s former Executive Director of Emerging Industries, Dorsey will make sure our county is competitive for new industries and will work to retain existing businesses. He led the Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy, supporting one of our county’s largest economic drivers. Dorsey had a seat at the table and made the final push to bring Pratt Paper to Henderson County. Many of you know he ran a family car dealership and served as president of Independence Bank. As a small business owner, Dorsey understands the risks involved, has invested in our community, and will always keep the interests of working people in mind.
Our county is privileged to have Henderson Community College, excellent schools, and one of the largest career and technical programs in the state at the high school. Dorsey will work in a collaborative nature to expand opportunities with our educational partners and skilled trades to improve workforce development. As a supporter of the Henderson Boys & Girls Club, a community center for our youth, Dorsey made the call that ensured the successful transfer of the historic National Guard Armory.
The expansion of the I-69 corridor will bring new commerce to our county; as County Judge, Dorsey will ensure older infrastructure can meet the demands of the new. Long before others took interest in the project, Dorsey was on the frontlines and spearheaded the legislation that made I-69 a reality.
As State Senator, Dorsey always responded to your phone calls and emails. Dorsey has a different style of leadership and will have an open-door policy as County Judge. He will treat our community members and county employees with the decency and respect that they deserve, no matter their political party.
